Abuelita (Airpusher) found her passion for music in marching band, repeating hypnotizing melodies on the vibraphone, to conducting the ensemble as drum major. Her early years were spent listening to her parents’ favorite artists like Blondie, Culture Club and Prince. Swimming in nostalgia, Abuelita weaves shimmering melodies with driving and spacey percussion.
