DJ DonOne (aka Jahknow Wright) started at Ballet Hysell/New Orleans Ballet as a dancer (later dancing at the Academy of Performing and Visual Arts in Chicago and Chicago City Ballet). Evolving rhythmic expression into music and live performance with Om records in the early days of collaboration with Archie Bell and D7 at the World Internet Center, collaborating with such greats as Andy Caldwell and Gabriel Rene in the early inception of Soulstice. After a long sabbatical, and traumatic journey through legal disputes, parenting, and divorce returning to Oakland to find footing in entertainment and music once again. Now producing tracks and albums available on SoundCloud and bandcamp. Currently producing from the historic artist enclave, Vulcan Lofts in East Oakland.
